SRINAGAR, Oct 20: A police man who was injured in stone pelting in July this year, today succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS hospital in Soura.
Constable Waseem Ahmad Bhat was injured in a stone pelting incident at Duck Park, Fore Shore Road Nigeen Hazratbal in July this year. He succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS Soura Srinagar, today.
A wreath laying ceremony was organized for the martyr in DPL Srinagar, today. A Guard of Honour was presented and floral wreaths were laid at the body of the martyred cop.
Among others, Divisional Commissioner, Rohit Kansal, Inspector General of Police Kashmir, A G Mir, DIG CKR A Mujtaba, DIG Armed Mustaq Sadiq, SSP Srinagar Amit Kumar, SSP PCR Imtiyaz Hussain, other police officers, jawans and relatives of the cop who were also present on the occasion.
