JAMMU, Oct 21: Jammu West Assembly Movement held a protest demonstrations under its president Sunil Dimple and blocked road on the High Court road, against the poor performance of Traffic Department, PWD R&B, ERA, JMC, PHE and the the slow pace of the ongoing work of the ERA.
Addressing the protestants Dimple expressed concern over Reliance cable digging work which is creating problems for the people and business community in this festival season.
He alleged that in the festival season Diwali the digging of the cables has badly effected the business in the Jammu city and no department is working with coordination with each other.
He warned the Government to immediately stop the cable digging work in the Jammu city or get ready to face the wrath of people.
Dimple gave ultimatum to PWD, ERA, PHE, JMC to start the black topping work immediately otherwise the agitation will be intensified for which the Government will be responsible.
Other present in the protest rally were Ashok Khana, Dev Raj, Kala Kumar, Rakesh, Vipan, Mukesh, Googa, Rakesh, Ishar Das, Viky, Vikas, Hans Raj, Jetinder, Vinet, Vijay Gupta, Sham Saroop Gupta, Vinod Suri, Manjiet Kumar, Puran Chand Kapoor, Vijay Sharma, Ramesh Chander Kohli, Kulwant Sharma etc.
