UDHAMPUR, Oct 27: In separate incidents, two teenaged boys attempted suicide by consuming some poisonous substance for the unknown reasons.
According to Police reports, one Amit Kumar (19), son of Shalu Sharma of Sallian Talab, Udhampur, was brought to District Hospital by the family members after he was found lying unconscious under mysterious circumstances in the house. Doctors washed stomach of the boy, who has apparently consumed some poisonous substance, police added.
Meanwhile one Bicky (18), son of Mani Ram of PTC Road Udhampur, also consumed some poisonous substance and was admitted in the District Hospital.
Cause behind provocation in both the cases could not be ascertained. However, Police has registered both the cases for further investigation.
