RAJOURI, Oct 28: Former Minister and MLA Rajouri, Shabir Ahmed Khan said there is no doubt recent floods influenced the lives of poor public, but Congress would do justice with all the flood victims and address their grievances.
Khan claimed that he is the only MLA who made frequent visits in various areas of his constituency from time to time and tried to redress the problems of the society. He was speaking during a series of meetings conducted at BG, Dreri and Dabrote area of Rajouri constituency to seek vote and support for him.
He highlighted the development works undertaken in Rajouri constituency during the past six years and declared it golden period of development and progress in the history of Rajouri. Khan asked the Congress workers to roll their sleeves up for the Assembly elections and assure that party wins all seven seats in twin districts of Rajouri and Poonch on merit.
He said overwhelming popularity and familiarity of the Congress needs to be translated into votes in the State in general and in Rajouri in particular, so that party could become a vibrant force in all the three regions.
It is a prudent fact that spree of development during Azad’s tenure is unforgettable and achievements in respect of overall development of the State during his tenure have no past example, he added.
