Vijaypur, Oct 29: MLA Vijaypur and senior vice president, National Conference, J&K Surjeet Singh Slathia today addressed a large gathering at Vijaypur.
While speaking on the occasion Slathia cautioned the people against the enemies of people and disgruntled politicians who have launched a sustained misinformation campaign against the achievements of Omar led Government.
He said that these elements will not succeed in their machinations as the people are united and can’t be swayed away by their hollow promises and empty slogans.
Mr Slathia said that NC will form the next Government. He appealed the people to vote and support NC for the future development of Vijaypur constituency. Slathia highlighted the achievements of Omar led Government during the last five and a half years and said so many schools have been upgraded from existing to the next level to provide better education facilities to the children at their door steps. He said that Vijaypur constituency has witnessed massive development in all the sectors.
The NC leader said that the higher academic and technical education facilities are being upgraded across the State especially in rural areas.
He cautioned the people against the mechanization of the Opposition, which is dividing the people on communal basis. He gave a detailed account of the development projects and welfare schemes launched by the Omar led Government in nook and corner of the State.
Among others Mohinder Gupta, Surinder Mahajan Vijay Singh, Raman Gupta, Sodagar Gupta, Ganesh Sharma, Nar Singh, Sardar Jarnail Singh and Master Babu Ram were present on the occasion.
