The ‘ Million March’, a rally organised by UK-based pro-Pakistan group on the Kashmir issue in London was bound to be a failure as it was not based on true historical reality.
It become an excuse for Pak-based to demonstrate their political power in Pakistan. The organisers are just puppets in the hands of these political parties.
The organisers were informed in advance that the show could prove to be a damp squib as there were not many takers of the ‘farce’ enacted by the political leaders.
The failure has led to a political slugfest with supporters of Imran Khan and Bilawal Bhutt Zardari accusing each other for the debacle.
The failure of ‘Million March’ should be an eye opener for the separatists in Kashmir. They should realise that international community is not going to get swayed by these rallies. Rather, separatists should participate in forthcoming elections and make their representative character felt.
