AFWWA week celebration concludes

JAMMU, Oct 31: The enlightening, informative and enjoyable Air Force Wives Welfare Association (AFWWA) week programme came to an end with an impressive celebration at AFWWA meeting here.
Deepanjali Bakshi, President, AFWWA (L) declared the meet open and addressed the Sanginis of Air Force Station Jammu. She complimented the Sanginis for the whole hearted and selfless contribution made towards making the AFWWA week celebration a splendid success.
A talk on “Stress management” was delivered by the psychologist, Jasmeet Kaur to bring home the point that mental well being is as important as physical well being.
The Sanginis also presented a synchronized group dance and a melodious group song. Solo dance performance and a solo song also added charm to the event. The show stopper however was the motivating skit based on “Save the girl child”.
The participants in the cultural show and the various winners of the series of events organized during the week were given prizes by Deepanjali Bakshi as a token of appreciation for their involvement. The meeting culminated with an appetizing lunch and interaction by the president AFWWA (L) with all the Sanginis.
