All India NHPC Workers and Employees Federation organizes mass rally

REASI, Oct 31: All India NHPC Workers and Employees Federation under the leadership of its general secretary Munshi Ram Salalia organized a mass rally, which was attended by hundreds of people from all over India.
RC Kuntia, President, All India NHPC Workers and Employees Federation, Secretary AICC (I) and former MP, who attended the rally first time in the State, was the chairperson of the rally.
The participants carrying banners and pla cards, started the rally from Ashok Thapa Chowk and passed through main bazaars of the district and culminated at Garden Estate, where the leaders of the trade unions from different parts of the country addressed the gathering with a brief on demands and issues of workers in the State as well as in the country.
Munishi Ram Salalia while addressing the gathering strongly condemned the move of the Central Government for proposing amendments in the existing labour laws to benefit the Corporate houses of country as well as broad by implementing the FDI in various sector of India. By doing such act the Government will ultimately snatch the right of the work force of State and India, he added.
He demanded that Jammu and Kashmir Government should regularize the services of all daily wagers, anganwari workers and contractual workers without any further delay.
