9 injured in separate road mishaps

JAMMU, Nov 1: Nine persons today injured in separate road accidents held in different parts of Jammu region.
According to police sources, 6 labourers got minor injuries when the tipper they were travelling in was hit by a truck at Kunjwani area early this morning. The injured have been identified as Pintoo son of Insan Ali (34), his wife Manju and their two sons Sadam (3) and Altaf (5), Rihana (25) wife of Chotu and Manju wife of Ramu, all residents of UP (at present Vijaypur). All of them were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for treatment.
In another case, Vakil Kumar (28) son of Dharam Pal resident of Rajpura (Samba) received minor injuries when his motor bike got slipped at Samba. He was also shifted to GMCH, Jammu.
A road mishap also took place at Greater Kailash Chowk, when an unknown vehicle hit Sandeep (22) son of Manmohan, resident of Sainik Colony and left him injured. He is also undergoing treatment at GMCH, Jammu.
A woman identified as Rita Devi wife of Tara Chand and resident of Muthi also got injured in a road mishap held at Akhnoor and is presently undergoing treatment at GMCH Jammu.
In all the cases, the concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter.
