JAMMU, Nov 3: Jourian police today arrested a bootlegger along with 40 pouches of illicit liquor.
As per police reports, on specific information, police team from Jourian police post laid a naka at Taroti and intercepted a scooter bearing registration number JK02M-4815.
During checking, police recovered 40 pouches of illicit liquor and arrested the scooterist, who has been identified as Mohinder Singh, son of Harbhans Singh of Dherian, Khour, tehsil Akhnoor.
A case under FIR number 223/14 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Akhnoor and investigation started.
