RAJOURI, Nov 3: Blaming the present and past dispensations for ruining the people of Jammu and Kashmir State which has adversely affected the overall growth and development of the people in all the three regions of the State, Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) State Vice president Vibodh Gupta said that the BJP is the only option left for the people to bring out the State from the present mess to the map of growth and development.
Addressing a largely attended meeting of BJP workers and supporters in the Mubarakpura village of Rajouri, Vibodh targeted the Congress, National Conference (NC), People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and other political parties for their divisive politics to satisfy their political ends. “These parties always divided the people on the name of religion or region as a result of which the State become the most corrupt and underdeveloped State in the country,” he added.
Vibodh also lauded the decision of the Party High Command to give mandates to the people from all the religions in the State in general and Rajouri and Poonch in particular. He said, “the party has given mandate to four Muslim faces out of six candidates which were announced recently from twin border districts. This decision is a big blow for those who were always projecting BJP as a communal party but the fact is that these parties were befooling people”.
Speaking on the occasion, BJP’s candidate from Rajouri constituency Ch.Talib Hussain expressed gratitude to the Parliamentary Board for awarding him mandate to contest the elections and he assured to the people that BJP is the party of common masses where even small worker can become PM and CM.
“Rajouri constituency is badly affected due to the discriminatory attitude of Omar led Government, where a particular area was developed with an eye on this election and other areas are left to the mercy of God”, Talib said and added that the formation of BJP’s government in the State would be a golden period for the people and they must strengthen the party in the days to come by casting their valuable votes in its favour.
District President Bharat Bhushan Vaid also addressed the gathering.
