JAMMU, Nov 3: District administration Jammu took several initiatives to facilitate youth of border areas to participate in the recruitment rally organized by the Army at Sainik School, Nagrota.
The pass-out participants will be provided guidance and counseling for written paper to be held on November 30.
On the instructions of AK Sahu, Deputy Commissioner Jammu, the administration had organized an effective awareness amongst all border areas for ensuring participation of youth in the recruitment rally of the Army.
The counseling centres were opened in all BDO offices wherein the clarification regarding the criteria, paperwork and photostat were done to aid the youth. Further, buses were deployed in all BDO offices of border areas like Khour, Pargwal, Samwan, Khara, Akhnoor, Marh, R.S.Pura, Suchetgarh, Arnia, Phallian Mandal, so that the candidates could reach easily for recruitment rally which was held recently.
The buses also brought these candidates back to their respective areas. Due to the team efforts of Deputy Director Employment, Jammu, all SDMs and BDOs, about 3500 candidates reached the destination.
