JAMMU, Nov 6: A meeting of Kharyal Mahajan Welfare Society, Jammu, was held today at Kul Dev Sthal Baba Mansar Ji Maharaj, to elect new body of the society.
Ashok Kharyal was elected as president, Amvrish Kharyal as general secretary and Deepak Kharyal as treasurer while the joint secretaries will be nominated by the elected members later.
Mohinder Prakash Kharyal acted as returning officer.
A debate competition on the subject “Swachh Bharat – Swasath Bharat” was also held at Dev Sthal Baba Mansar Ji Maharaj in which Ashima Kharyal, Arushi Kharyal, Arunima Kharyal were declared 1st, 2nd and 3rd, respectively in junior wing while in senior wing the positions were bagged by Ayushi Kharyal, Abishek Kharyal and Arushi Kharyal.
The children who secured above 90% in Secondary and Senior Secondary Examinations and those who completed their professional qualifications were also encouraged by presenting mementos.
