Model Academy outplays CCA Yellow by 18 runs

JAMMU, Nov 6: Model Academy got better of Col R N Chopra Cricket Academy Yellow by 18 runs to enter the semifinals of the Chopra Challenge Cup at IIIM-CSIR cricket ground, here today.
Batting first, Model Academy scored 94 runs in 20 overs, losing 2 wickets in the process. Harsh and Mintu scored 26 and 23 runs respectively. For CCA Yellow, Aksham and Mannat claimed one wicket each.
In reply, CCA Yellow collapsed at 76 runs, thus losing the match by 18 runs. Apekshit Razdan and Vidhant Suri contributed 12 and 10 runs respectively. Shazil and Krishanam took 3 wickets each for Model Academy, while Mintu, Akash and Jaiwant claimed one wicket apiece.
The match was officiated by Deepak Dogra and Akash Manhas, under the supervision of chaief coach Sukomal Ganguly.
