Cashew declines on subdued demand

NEW DELHI, Nov 8:  Cashew prices fell marginally by Rs 5 per kg in the national capital today largely due to absence of demand from bulk consumers amid increased arrivals from producing areas.
Cashew kernel (No 180, 210, 240 and 230) prices eased by Rs 5 each to conclude at Rs 790-810, Rs 690-700, Rs 630-640 and Rs 530-540 per kg, respectively.
Marketmen said slackened demand from retailers and stockists against increased arrivals, weighed on cashew prices.

Almond (California) Rs 18,600, Almond (Gurbandi-new) Rs 8,000-8,200; Almond (Girdhi) Rs 5,000-5,200; Abjosh Afghani Rs 16,000-25,000.
Almond Kernel (California-new) Rs 660-670 per kg, Almond Kernel (Gurbandi-new) Rs 500-650 per kg. (PTI)
