DHS visits various health institutions

JAMMU, Nov 8:  Director Health Services, Jammu Dr B.S Pathania inspected various health institutes in Doda, Bhaderwah, Bani & Basholi.
District Hospital Doda, he inspected all the sections of the Hospital. A meeting was also convened with the Doctors and Paramedical Staff  to review the functioning  of various sections of the hospital and asked the staff to work with honesty and dedication. He also inspected Old District Hospital Doda which has been renovated to accommodate the newly sanctioned GMT School.
He further visited PHC Bhalla in Bhaderwah  along with Engineers and officers  of JKPCC and  expressed his satisfaction regarding the quality of work  done and its completion at scheduled time. He instructed the  Chief Medical Officer & Block Medical Officer to take over the building at the earliest.
He also visited Community Health Centre Bhaderwah and took a review meeting with Chief Medical Officer, Block Medical officer and Doctors. During deliberations DHS, Jammu directed the concerned CMO to  upgrade the newly established Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Sick Newborn Care Unit (SNCU)  & install required/ essential equipment etc.
During his visit to old Hospital Bhaderwah he was accompanied by the general manager of JK Housing Board Joginder Pal. Director   expressed his dissatisfaction over slow pace of renovation of AMT school and instructed the general manager JK Housing Board to expedite the work and emphasized on its completion at the earliest.
Dr Pathania also visited newly constructed building of S/C Lowang (Block Bani). The people of village Lowang appreciated the interest shown by the DHS, Jammu for providing special attention to development of  health infrastructure facilities in the far flung areas of Jammu Province.
