JAMMU, Nov 8: DIET Poonch organized District Level Science quiz competition in the premises of HSS Boys Poonch today.
Eight teams from different Schools of the District participated in the quiz competition.
The Programme was presided over by Vice Principal BHSS Poonch.
Romesh Sharma, Sr. Lecturer; Anju Rishi, Sr. Lecturer and Muzaffer Hussain Lecturer performed the duties of anchors, while Teachers Yougal Kishore and J P Singh acted as scorers.
The purpose for the conduct of science quiz was to judge the quickness and sharpness of the students in understanding difficult, concrete and abstract concepts of Science.
The teams of Sant Mela Singh Ji Public School Poonch, HSS Harni and HSS Lasana bagged 1st, 2nd and 3rd position respectively. Prizes were awarded to winners by Chief Education Officer Poonch, Lal Hussain.
The Programme concluded with vote of thanks presented by Sr Lecturer DIET, Romesh Sharma.
