JAMMU, Nov 8: A zonal level quiz competition at elementary level in “Mathematics” was organized at Govt Girls Middle School Bhella.
30 students drawn from surrounding schools actively participated in the event.
Headmaster Girls M/s Bhella Permashvari Devi graced the function as a chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, she advised the students to take part in any co-curricular activity where ever and whenever organized, adding that students of these remote areas possess enormous hidden talent which need to be exposed.
A variety of questions based on mathematics were asked, which were keenly answered by the students.
Adarash Vidya Bal Bhawan Bhella won first prize whereas Moon Light Model Academy and Govt. Boys M S Bhella bagged second and third prize respectively.
By bagging first prize Adarash Vidya Bal Bhawan has qualified for participating in District level quiz competition to be conducted by District Institute of Education and Trainings (DIET) Doda on November 11,2014.
The programme was conducted by Cluster Resource Person Sunarthawa Chiralla and Narinder Singh, under the supervision and guidance of ZEO Thathri F A Fani.
