MENDHAR, Nov 8: A youth was arrested by Mendhar police for his alleged involvement in several theft cases.
Identified as Tahir Hussain Shah, he had escaped from the police lock up once from Gursai. On seeing police party, he tried to dodge cops but was over powered. He had stolen Rs 9000 and Rs 2500 in two different thefts besides two mobile phones. The police registered FIR No. 167/ 2014 against him. Police party led by SHO Sadakat Qureshi nabbed him from his house last night.
