UDHMPUR, Nov 9: Independent candidate from Udhampur Assembly Constituency, Pawan Gupta today said that it is unfortunate that Panthers Party MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia failed to develop Udhampur constituency during his two tenures as MLA.
Addressing in an election campaign meeting organized in village Battal here today, he assured the people that if voted to represent the people for the Assembly, his priority will be construction of roads with double lane from Jib Morh to Bansa Morh, Udhampur to Pakhlai, Udhampur to Ghordi, Udhampur to Lander and Udhampur to Roun-Domail via Battal Ballian.
He further highlighted his priority that he will raise his voice to bring Udhampur in the map of tourism keeping its potential and good scope of tourism in Udhampur District. He also said that he will struggle to equip District Hospital Udhampur with all possible modern healthcare and facilities.
Sarpanch Raj Mohd Chandail, Sarpanch Jeevan Sharma, Sarpanch Puran Sharma, Sarpanch Sanjay Sharma, Sumer Khajuria, Sarpanch Rafiq Chandail and Sarpanch Subash Sharma also appealed the people to vote in favor of Pawan Gupta.
