Yogesh to contest as independent candidate

JAMMU, Nov. 10: Former Minister and senior Congress leader Yogesh Sawhney has decided to contest forthcoming Assembly elections as an independent candidate from Jammu East Assembly constituency. Mr Sawhney said that on the huge demand of voters of Jammu East Assembly constituency, he has decided to contest elections as an independent candidate.
He said that people in large number from Jammu East constituency met him and requested him to contest elections as people have no faith in other candidates contesting elections. He said that Congress has given mandate to a persons who has no ground in politics and is new to Jammu East constituency.
He said that his main aim is to serve the masses and only with this aim he is jumping in the election ring and is fully hopeful of winning the elections with huge margin with the blessings of masses of Jammu East Assembly constituency. He said that he is not joining any other party (but will contest elections as an independent candidate and will start election campaigning soon.
