BHADERWAH, Nov 11: The Business School, Bhaderwah Campus organised Grand Alumni Meet “MILAAP”, for all the alumni of TBS, Bhaderwah Campus passed from 2006 to 2014. This was the first Alumni Meet of the campus since its inception.
Rohit Bhagat, HoD, Department of MBA presented welcome address and introduced the audience to the theme of the function, “MILAAP”.
Prof GM Bhat, Rector, Bhaderwah Campus was the chief guest, who while speaking emphasized on the need of hard work. He also paid homage to Vinod Manhas who was a student of TBS, Bhaderwah Campus and had died due to heart attack last year.
The function started with Ganesh Vandana, followed by dance performance, skit and other cultural items. Audience was unable to stop laughing on the comedy anchoring of Neeraj and his extempore performance. An act of comedy Sher-o-Shiyari was presented by Mateen Wani a student of MBA 3rd semester. Gourav Sharma and Wajid filled the evening with romance by their mesmerizing singing. Anshu Gupta, topper MBA 2010-12 also joined the event through video conferencing. Students of Little Angel School have presented many sweet colourful items like solo dance, group dance etc.
All the Alumni who are working with different corporate houses shared their experiences of their stay in the campus and in the corporate world.
The function ended with the distribution of gifts to MBA students, Alumni and the children’s of Little Angel School.
The event was attended by Kuljit Singh, Academic Coordinator, Sourabh Shastri, HoD MCA Department, Dr Subash Chander, HoD, English Department, Dr Umesh Choudhary, Dr Ajaz Ahmed, Gourav Sharma, Atif Qazi, Vidhu Koul, Mazafar, members of teaching and non-teaching besides civilian population.
The programme was compared by Atif, Manish and Sunali, while as the vote of thanks was presented by Sunil Bhardwaj, Asstt Prof, The Business School.
