JAMMU, Nov 11: Police today arrested a man along with large quantity of illicit liquor pouches from Chak Jagar area of Marh, falling under the jurisdiction of Domana police station.
As per police sources, police team from Domana police station laid a naka at Chak Jagar area of Marh and arrested a person along with 44 pouches of illicit liquor.
The accused has been identified as Sanjay Kumar, son of Girdhari Lal of Manyal Brahmana.
A case under FIR number 418/14 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Domana police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Domana police station Mohammad Qasim made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Domana Sanjay Parihar and SP Rural Rajeev Pandey.
