JAMMU, Nov 12: Alleging that Congress, National Conference (NC), BJP and NPP have been using the Mahasha community as only vote bank to capture political power, Mahasha Sudhar Sabha, Miran Sahib (Jammu) today stressed upon the community members to get united and vote against these political parties, which befooled them for decades.
Addressing a meeting of Mahasha Sudhar Sabha at Mandal Phallain in Marh Constituency, chief guest, Faqir Nath, ex-MLA, expressed serious concern over the hostile and discriminatory attitude of Congress, NC and NPP.
He asked the leadership of Congress to see their past track of at least previous two tenures and think if they deserve the vote of this community. NC and NPP are also sailing in the same boat, he added.
The ex-MLA said that the community had great expectations from BJP but unfortunately it is also proving as the sister concern of the Congress and day dreams on the name of PM Narendra Modi are being shown by it, whose attitude is not much different than Congress. He further added that only PDP and BSP have given two seats each to the community while all other parties have completely ignored Mahasha community.
He urged upon the community members to get united and completely boycott these political parties to give befitting reply to selfish leaders of these parties who pretend to be secular but practically they are anti-poor and have been merely ruling on the divide and rule formula.
