VIJAYPUR, Nov 13: MLA Vijaypur and NC candidate from Vijaypur Surjeet Singh Slathia today intensified his election compaign in the constituency.
He said that National Conference under the leadership of Omar Abdullah will emerge as single largest party in J&K Assembly elections. Slathia expressed his gratitude to the people of the area for giving whole hearted support and showing faith in him for over all development of Vijaypur constituency. He said that the promises made with the people of remote and far-flung area have been fulfilled by the young and dynamic Omar Abdullah led Government. While addressing the large gathering at Teli Basti Slathia asked the people to beware of the politicians who are dividing the people on communal basis and want to grab the power for their personal interests. He further said that the agenda of National Conference is for all round equitable development of all sections of the society particularly living in remote and border villages. He urged the people of the area to vote decisively in favour of National Conference for all round and equitable development of J&K State.
Slathia also convened election meetings in Gho-Brahamana, Gho-Manhasan, Shezadpur, Dera & Radwan. He asked the people to support National Confernce for better development in Vijaypur constituency.
He cautioned the people against the mechanization of the opposition who are dividing the people on communal basis. He gave a detailed account of the development projects and welfare schemes launched by the Omar led Government in the State. He said that the Opposition is un-nerved with growing popularity graph of Omar led Government.
