NEW DELHI, Nov 13:
Janata Dal (United) national president Sharad Yadav today said he will campaign for the People’s Democratic Party in the upcoming Assembly polls in Jammu and Kashmir if PDP patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed asks him to do so. “I have old relations with Mufti Mohammad Sayeed. If he asks me, I will campaign for the PDP,” Mr Yadav told reporters here. Mr Yadav said he is making efforts to bring together “Janata parivar”.
Jammu and Kashmir along with Jharkhand will go to Assembly polls in five phases from November 25 and December 20. Counting of votes will take place on December 23. (UNI)
