UDHAMPUR, Nov 13: One person was knocked to death and two others were injured by a negligently driven bus at Bus Stand Ramnagar, here today.
According to the police reports, a passenger bus bearing registration number JK02H-8858, hit three pedestrians at the Bus-stand Ramnagar. The trio was rushed to the Sub District Hospital Ramnagar where doctors declared one of them as brought dead.
The deceased was identified as Shankri Devi wife of Sarnoo of Jofarh. The two injured, identified as Sunita Devi wife of Mulkh Raj of Sunetar and Gopal son of Krishan Lal of Rang in Ramnagar tehsil, were responding to the treatment and their condition was stated to be out of danger.
Police has registered the case and arrested driver of the bus.
