JAMMU, Nov 13: After Phase-I, a number of crorepati candidates have joined electoral fray for Phase-II of polling in 18 Assembly constituencies of Jammu and Kashmir going to polls on December 2.
NPP candidate from Udhampur constituency Balwant Singh Mankotia has movable assets of Rs 6.71 lakh including a Maruti car and Rs 2 lakh in hand, while as the similar assets on the name of his wife were valued at Rs 45.64 lakh including 85 tolas gold worth Rs 22.10 lakh. Mankotia has immovable assets of Rs 2 lakh including 34 kanals and 11 marlas of agricultural land.
PDP candidate from Karnah constituency Raja Manzoor Ahmed Khan has movable assets of Rs 2 lakh including Rs 50,000 cash in hand, while as similar assets on the name of his wife were valued at Rs 4.14 lakh including jewellery worth Rs 60,000 and an alto car. He has immovable assets of Rs 31 lakh including eight kanals agricultural land, while as similar assets on the name of his wife were valued at Rs 35 lakh including residential building at Government Housing Colony, Ompora in Badgam.
National Conference candidate from Karnah Kafil-ur-Rehman, a three times MLA from the constituency, has movable assets of Rs 20 lakh including Rs 1 lakh cash in hand, while as similar assets on the name of his wife were valued at Rs 5 lakh. He has immovable assets of Rs 1.16 crore including 2 kanals and 18 marlas agricultural land.
