Akhnoor, Nov 17: Senior Congress leader and former Minister & MP Madan Lal Sharma while addressing a series of public meetings at Rajwal, Dhok, Dhok Khalsa, Pail, Panjgrian, Jadh Brahmana in Akhnoor Assembly constituency called upon the voters of Akhnoor to vote in Sham Lal’s favour for making vibrant and strong Jammu.
He said that Sham Lal Sharma has emerged as a strong voice of Jammu Region and both of them selflessly worked for its progress and prosperity. Mr. Sharma said that protecting peoples wishes and aspirations were priority of the Congress Party. He said it was historical fact that Congress had always protected interests of all sections of the society.
Mr. Sharma said that entire State witnessed unprcedented development during last 12 years. Remote, hilly and backward areas given equal thrust and attention people wish to revive that era of progress and development they must come forth to give a decisive mandate to the Congress party. He said that the main focus of MLA Akhnoor remained the development and he has worked hard irrespective of caste, area which has given a new dimension to the Akhnoor constituency.
Ex-MP while remembering his tenure informed the public that he has also given due share to the people of border belts. . Mr. Sharma said that Sham Lal Sharma always voiced for the interest of Jammu region and it is important for the region and Akhnoor to send back him to Assembly for keeping vigil and watch the interest of Jammu region and the responsibility lies on the shoulders of the of Akhnoor to re-elect him in the interest of Akhnoor in particular and Jammu region in general.
