JAMMU, Nov 17: Minster of State in PMO incharge of North Eastern States, Dr Jitendra Singh today said that every religion preaches humanism which ultimately leads to spiritualism.
Releasing the book “Mohay Chakar Rakhoji’’ of Girja Pandit a renowned bhajan singer from Kashmir and settled in Mumbai here today, Dr Singh said that spiritualism is a vast subject but humanism is key to it.
He said religion and science go together and the grey area in between the two is spiritualism in real sense. Commenting on Girja’s book Dr Jitendra Singh said that it is difficult for a person to become human being without guidance and hence “we need such books to guide us from time to time.
Kiran Wattal Commissioner JMC who presided over the function said that Indian society whenever faced any kind of upheaval was guided by spiritual saints to rid itself of this turmoil.
Swami Kumar Ji who was the guest of honour also spoke on the book and its spiritual aspects.
Speaking on the occasion Prof A K Ogra who was the special guest termed the book a great work of Girja Ji in which she has revealed her inner journey towards spirituality, how it began and how she experienced pure bliss by grace of her beloved Lord Narayana.
Manohar Pandit Girja’s husband also spoke on the book and essence of spiritualism in life.
The book has been published by Samta Sharma a spiritual lady from Jammu.
The vote of thanks was proposed by V K Kashkari, vice president AIKS while P K Raina managed the stage.
