JAMMU, Nov 17: District Level Quiz Competition for Elementary classes in Mathematics was conducted at City HS Udhampur under the chairmanship of Ved Parkash Sharma, HOD DIET (Kud) in District Udhampur in which various schools from 9 Zones of District Udhampur participated.
In the competition, 1st position was secured by Shehzad and Mukesh of GMS Jaganoo of Zone Jib, 2nd position was bagged by Amisha and Arjun Singh of GHS Udhampur of Zone Udhampur while 3rd position was won by Arohit and Vishwajit of GMS Lehad of Zone Chenani.
The team which stood first will represent the district at SIE, Jammu on November 29, 2014 at Divisional Level Quiz Competition.
Speaking on the occasion, HOD DIET, VP Sharma appreciated the efforts of the students and stressed upon the teachers to work hard with the students for preparing them to participate in such type of competitions.
