MENDHAR, Nov 18: A young girl was killed after she fell down from moving bus in Mendhar area of district Poonch.
A police spokesman said that mishap took place when some passengers were boarding a bus No. JK02AG/8547 at Kallar Morha. The vehicle was on way to Jammu from Poonch. As the 25-year-old Naseem Akhtar, daughter of Ghulam Hassain of Kallar was just riding the bus, the driver accelerated and started moving. The girl fell down and sustained serious head injuries.
The other passengers cried and the injured passenger was rushed to Surankot hospital where doctors declared her as dead. The police seized the bus and arrested its driver. A case was registered in this connection.
