Sadhotra intensifies poll campaign

JAMMU, Nov 18: Ajay Sadhotra, senior leader of National Conference and contesting candidate from Marh Assembly constituency, intensified the election campaign and addressed a series of meetings in Panchayats namely Gangu Chak, Channu Chak, Karloop, Marh and Sangrampur.
While addressing the largely attended gatherings, he highlighted the works in different sectors undertaken by him for the development of the constituency. He said that construction of number of bridges, culverts and roads connected different villages of the area with each other leading to the improvement in economic conditions of the people of the area.
Besides this, he added, electrification of number of villages was done by getting a number of electric poles and transformers installed and upgraded. Adequate water supply was also made available to the people of the area by laying pipes, installing hand pumps and number of tube wells constructed and got functional to augment the need of drinking water in the area, he said.
The Minister said that it was unfortunate that the people had a bitter experience under elected representative of BJP who ignored the constituency adding to the miseries of the common man and even created hurdles in the development of the area but now making tall claims. “The people of Marh would teach a lesson to such person in the forthcoming elections,” Sadhotra said and requested the voters to consider his contributions for the development of the area and appealed them to cast their vote in his favour.
During the meetings, a number of persons expressing their faith in the National Conference joined the party in presence of Mr Sadhotra.
