Can’t stop RSS to campaign for party in J&K: BJP

SRINAGAR, Nov 19: Day after Pradesh Congress Committee President Saif-ud-Din Soz, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and separatists’ leaders accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for polarizing voters on religious lines; BJP today said that the party can’t stop RSS workers to campaign for the party for the upcoming election in the State.
BJP State vice president and party incharge Kashmir, Ramesh Arora said in a press conference that they can’t stop anyone from campaigning for the party in Jammu and Kashmir. “We can’t stop anybody to campaign in favor of our party, whether he belongs to any religion,” adding, not only RSS workers Muslim clerics are also campaigning for BJP.
While taking a jibe at Saif-ud-Din Soz for his remarks that BJP was using every method in their book to polarize voters on religious line, Arora said Soz was talking out of his mind.
Arora said that BJP would not forge any post-poll alliance with the ruling National Conference as the party wants to get rid of ‘Family Raj’ in the State.
Meanwhile the BJP leader said that Hina Bhat, the Party candidate from Amirakadal constituency has admitted that she has had made a mistake by saying that “I will be the first person to pick-up gun if her party (BJP) even tried to touch Article 370.”
Arora also said that some misconception was created in the State that BJP won’t achieve its target in the elections. “We are confident that BJP will achieve ‘Mission 44+’ and for that the party will announce its candidates on remaining seats within couple of days,” he said.
