POONCH, Nov 19: Urging the people to repose confidence in the programmes and policies of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to bring change in the system of governance, general secretary of PDP and MLC, Yash Pal Sharma, today said that PDP has emerged as a strong regional force representing true aspirations of the all regions and sub-regions of the State.
Addressing impressive public meetings at Ward No 13, 14 and 15 of Poonch city and in Dhara Dulliyan, Jhullas, Kuniyan villages of Poonch-Haveli Assembly segment in support of party candidate Shah Mohammad Tantray, Sharma said that with the support of people PDP has emerged as strong alternative to the National Conference (NC).
“Being a biggest regional forces of J&K, there is a decisive role ahead for the PDP in shaping destiny of the State and its people”, he said while seeking support of the people to get rid from the yoke of the corrupt NC. He urged people to repose their faith in PDP for political empowerment and balanced economic growth.
Reiterating resolve of PDP to bring in a change in system, PDP candidate for Poonch-Haveli seat, Shah Mohammad Tantray said the people of the State alone can bring in a change in the system of governance and their lives through the process of public accountability.
Lambasting Omar Abdullah led coalition regime for prevailing chaos and uncertainty in State, Tantray said that credibility of coalition regime has reached to its lowest ebb due to mis-governance and mal-administration.
