JAMMU, Nov 19: CMDE Wing DIET Poonch organized District Level Mathematics Quiz Competition for secondary classes in the premises of Raza-ul-Uloom Islamia High School Poonch today.
The programme was presided over by Nagesh Arya, HoD CMDE Wing.
Romesh Chander, Senior Lecturer highlighted the aims and objectives of competition which was organized under the guidance and supervision of Lal Hussain CEO-cum-Principal DIET Poonch.
Kasturi Lal HoD Mathematics wing and Sanjay Kumar, Lecturer performed the duties of anchors whereas Puneet Sehgal and Gurmeet acted as time-keeper and scorer respectively.
The team of Govt. Girls Hr Sec School Surankote secured 1st, DAV Public School Poonch bagged 2nd and Govt Girls Higher Secondary School Mendhar claimed 3rd position.
Speaking on the occasion, Shabeer Principal of the host School appreciated DIET faculty members for organizing such competition. Prizes were given to the winning teams. The team of Govt Girls Hr. Secondary School Surankote will participate in the Divisional Level Competition at Jammu which is being organized by State Institute of Education Jammu.
Safeer Hussain Shah was also present on the occasion.
The programme concluded with vote of thanks presented by Zulifkar Hussain, Lecturer.
