RAJOURI, Nov 21: Providing further momentum to its Assembly election campaign in border district of Rajouri to make ‘Mission 44+ a reality’, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) district unit today organized a function at Shahpur area of Rajouri district in which nearly 500 people from all walks of life participated.
Addressing to the rally, BJP State vice president Vibodh Gupta highlighted the hardships being faced by the common man in the J&K State where they are always being deprived even for the basic amenities like food, shelter, water and electricity.
Vibodh cornered Congress, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and National Conference (NC) for the plight of the people in the State and he said that these parties always looted the State exchequer after coming to power as a result of which the State has become the most corrupt and underdeveloped area in the country.
He also criticized Congress leadership for the pathetic condition of the State which they ruled for so many years. “Congress could not take a save passage to shield its false promises which they have made for the last more than 30 years”, Vibodh said and added that the BJP will leave no stone unturned to bring peace and prosperity in the State.
BJP candidate from Rajouri Ch. Talib Hussain also addressed the gathering and promised to the people of the constituency that if he is elected Rajouri he will develop Rajouri it as a ‘model constituency’ with all basic facilities at the doorsteps of the people. He also appealed people to vote in his favour to make him successful.
