Srinagar, Nov 22: Police and army today arrested a militant of Hizbul Mujahideen from Sopore town of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Police sources said that a joint team of army’s 24 RR and SOG Pattan, SOG Sopore and SOG Kreer raided General bus stand in Sopore after specific intelligence input about presence of a militant there.
Sources said that a militant of Hizbul-Mujahideen outfit along with a pistol was arrested. He was identified as Aijaz Ahmad Mir of Kreeri, Pattan. He was active for last two years in North Kashmir.
