Omar led Govt transformed State in big way: Bimla

JAMMU, Nov 24: Contesting candidate of National Conference (NC) from Jammu East and sitting MLA, Bimla Luthra today addressed a series of meetings at Prem Nagar, Dalpatian Mohalla and Pheer Kho area of Jammu East constituency, wherein she maintained that Omar led State Government transformed the State in a big way.
Referring to the revolutionary measures taken by Omar Abdullah in empowering the people and strengthening democratic institutions in the State, she said elections to Panchayats after 33 years and introduction of Right to Information and Public Services Guarantee Acts, are the major steps to achieve this objective.
Giving an overview of the achievements of State Government during past six years, Bimla said enviable performance has been registered in each sector of development, which raises hopes about Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh touching new heights of progress in the coming years.
She appealed the people to vote in favour of NC candidates to ensure its victory.
