Gaze history of candidate before voting: Kundal

JAMMU, Nov 24: Member Legislative Council (MLC) and independent candidate from RS Pura constituency for Assembly elections, Balwant Rai Kundal today visited and addressed gatherings in villages Tanda, Rattian, Tinde Kalan and other villages of the constituency and pledged to work for the segment.
People raised slogans in favour of Kundal and vowed to support his candidature in the coming Assembly elections.
While addressing the gathering, Kundal asked the people not to fall prey to those who play caste based politics and during casting your valuable vote, look at the candidate but not his/her caste.
He further said that people are exploited on caste, color and religion during elections by parties only to play petty politics, adding that real politics lie in the service of people.
“Krishi Bima Policy” and “Kissan Vikash Board” Schemes were launched in the year 2004 to raise farmers community but the benefits of these schemes have not been provided to farmers, he said adding that all the previous MLAs have exploited the interests of farmers and farmer is feeling cheated.
He added that the people of RS Pura voted BJP candidate Jugal Kishore Sharma in the Lok Sabha election but even after the lapse of over six months, the said MP has never visited the constituency to express gratitude to the people for supporting him.
He further said that Modi will not come to get your work done as it is executed by local bodies. Extending support to parties that exploit people for their own benefit must be given befitting reply to reject them in democracy as they don’t deserve mandate.
He further appealed people to first look at the history of candidate or party before casting their vote as it decides their future for 6 years in J&K.
