NOWSHERA, Nov 26: Ex-serviceman Radha Krishan Sharma, father of PCC spokesperson and MLC Ravinder Sharma passed away after brief illness this morning.
He was 90 and is survived by four sons and a daughter.
According to family sources Late Sharma complained of suffocation and was shifted to GMC hospital in the morning, where he breathed his last. His body was brought to his native village Badhwal in Sunderbani. The cremation took place at his native village in tehsil Sunderbani this evening. A large number of people from all walks of life including Congress leaders took part in the funeral procession.
Meanwhile, PCC and DCC functionaries in a meeting held at the party headquarters Jammu this evening, condoled the sad demise of Radha Krishan Sharma, father of Congress candidate from Nowshera, Ravinder Sharma. They also expressed their sympathy with the bereaved family members and prayed for peace to the noble soul.
