1 killed, 4 injured in road accidents

JAMMU, Nov 26: One person was killed while four others were injured in separate road accidents in different parts of Jammu region.
According to a police spokesperson, a minor boy was killed while one other injured when the bike they were riding on, was hit by an unknown vehicle near Munshichak area of Pouni Chak in Jammu.
The dead person has been identified as Aniket (17) son of Brij Lal, a resident of Gole Mohalla, Saini while the injured person has been identified as Harpreet Singh (17) son of Ranjit Singh of Govind Nagar area of Gole Gujral.
Immediately after the accident, duo was shifted Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, where Aniket was declared as brought dead, while the condition of the other minor was stated to be stable. The dead body has been shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for post mortem.
A pillion rider identified as Ohm Kumari (50) wife of Janak Raj of Chakra in Bishnah got injured this evening when the bike she was travelling on along with her husband was hit by a Tipper at Bari Brahamana area of Samba district.
One person was also injured when his bike was hit by another bike near Ranbir Library, here at Kacchi Chawani. The injured has been identified as Kazam Bhat son of Mohd Tariq Bhat, a resident of Ramnagar (at present HNo 41, Karan Nagar).
One minor boy namely Deepak (17) son of Daleep, a resident of Rajpura area of Shakti Nagar (Jammu), also got serious injuries when the bike he was riding on was hit by another bike here at Tali Morh.
In all cases, the injured persons have been shifted to GMCH Jammu and the concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter.
