Charak promises suitable compensation to border firing victims

ARNIA (RS PURA), Nov 26: Former Minister and senior Congress leader, Gulchain Singh Charak visited sensitive and border villages of Arnia tehsil and promised to leave no stone unturned to ensure that suitable compensation is given to border fire victims of Bishnah constituency.
Addressing a series of public meetings, Charak reiterated that it is his firm commitment to ensure that due compensation is paid to the affected families who have lost their kith and kin besides suffering heavy losses of their dwellings, live stock and standing crops.
He also made a commitment for the development of the area, revamping its education and health care system and other demands of the people. He further said that efforts for providing a separate Government Degree College for this border area and provision for suitable accommodation for the newly created Tehsil and Block Headquarters of Arnia are his other priorities.
He appealed the people to vote in his favour so that he is able to carry out his commitments expeditiously.
A meeting of the Congress party functionaries was also organized at Arnia, wherein Charak enjoined upon the Congress workers to gear up to disseminate the policies and programmers of the Congress Party to the common people and make them understand the manifesto of the party and our agenda designed for the welfare and development of the Bishnah constituency.
They were advised to work at the ground level so that more and more people could be made to understand about the concern of Congress party towards the common people. He asked the Congress workers to continue the mass contact programme to involve the people in carrying forward the developmental programmes of the party.
