SAMBA, Nov 26: A massive rally was organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at Samba today on the occasion of filling up of nomination papers by the Party candidate. Dr. Devinder Manyal.
Dr Manyal was taken in a large procession to the office of the Returning Officer, Samba by his supporters in a cavalcade of motorcycles, cars, and other vehicles. The Samba town wore a festive look and the enthusiastic crowd raised slogans in support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP. They also danced to the tune of Dhols. The senior leaders of BJP accompanied Dr. Devinder Manyal to the office of the Returning Officer Samba- Pardeep Manhas.
After filing the nomination papers, the procession of BJP assembled at New Bus Stand Samba where senior leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party addressed the gathering. In his address Dr. Manyal assured the gathering that he will leave no stone unturned to develop Samba Assembly Segment and make this Constituency a Model Constituency. A large number of Sarpanchs, Panchs and leaders of Panthers Party, National Conference and Congress joined BJP in the presence of senior leaders and the gathering.
The senior leaders in their address exhorted people to turnout in large numbers on polling day which and cast their vote in favour of BJP to usher in an era of equitable development and prosperity for all the sections of the society. MLA Ashok Khajuria,Thakur Shamsher Singh Manhas Ex. president State BJP and Senior leader, Prominent Advocate Sunil Sethi, Thakur Kashmira Singh, district president BJP Samba. Jang Veer Singh Chiku, Distt. general secretary of BJP and other leaders of the area were among the prominent who addressed the gathering.
