JAMMU, Nov 28: Satwari police today arrested a hardcore criminal, who was evading his arrest for the past one and half year.
As per police sources, police team from Satwari police station conducted a raid and nabbed a hardcore criminal, who has been identified as Kulvinder Singh alias Happy (34), son of Tarlok Singh, a resident of Ajit Nagar, Satwari.
The accused was involved in a case registered under FIR number 59/2013 under Section 307, 341, 323 RPC and 4/25 Arms Act on April 24, 2013 with Satwari police station.
As per case details, the accused had attacked Harkirat Singh, son of late Hira Singh and his son Gagan Deep Singh, resulting into serious injuries to both.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Satwari police station Inspector Kulbir Singh Choudhary made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Gandhi Nagar Harjeet Singh, SP South Rahul Malik and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
