After Selling its mobile division to Microsoft and Microsoft recently naming Lumia to Microsoft Lumia, Nokia might have beeen out from our sight.But,Nokia is not looking to let go of easily without trying.Nokia is back

Nokia has launched a tablet Nokia N1.
entring straightaway into hardware bussiness with it’s new Nokia N1 tablet.The tablet will be manufactured by Foxconn, Since Nokia does’nt have any manufacturing unit now.This leads to start of new era where Nokia will be innovator as always but those innovations will come to life with help of 3rd party manufacturers.

Design
The Nokia N1 looks stunning with it’s one peice aluminium material which is anodised.No surprise it;s coming from company that gave us legendary Phones like N95.Yes/ lookig at the yablets it looks simijlar to ipad mini.We would say a better looking ipad mini.The tablet with dimensions ( Height 200.7mm Width 138.6 mm thickness 6.9 mm) is slimmer than ipad mini.At 318g Nokia N1 is lighter than most of the tabs out thereThe tablety will be available in two colours Natural Aluminum or Lava Graypremium
Tech Specs
Housing the stunning 7.9 inch display of resolution 7.9 inch 2048×1536 resolution.The screen as stated by Nokia is fully laminated with zero air-gap.The display also has Gorilla® glass 3.The display in all looks very promising.
The hardware side of Nokia N1 tablet is differnt from most of Nokia going with Intel processor and not snapdrogon or Nvidia for saving on the manufacturing cost.At the same time Intel is quite powerful.Processor is Intel® 64-bit Atom™ Processor Z3580, 2.3 GHz with 2 GB Ram (LPDDR3 (800 MHz))
The Graphics core is PowerVR G6430 at 533 MHz making tablet quite powerful in all.
Tablet will come with 32 GB internal storage and is not expandable.Tablet lacks Sd card slot.But the newly inroduced
eMMC 5.0 type storage makes data transfer very fast and makes up for no Sd card slot.
There is a 8 MP back camera with autofocus while the front end has 5 MP with fixed focus.Looking at the camera specs the tablet may be temting for selfie obsessed people out there.The tablet also features 1080p video recording.
Coming to battery department ,the tablet boasts 18.5 Wh (5300 mAh) rechargeable lithium polymer battery (3.7 V) which looks quite good.Tablet may be able to give more than a day backup.
Software
Now comes the most exiciting part Android Lolipop 5.0. Yes, Nokia offering android.Nokia may have finally realised android is the way forward after selling it’s mobile and hardware unit to Microsoft.Nokia also offers it’s custom luancher Nokia X over android 5.0.Nokia X launcher is still in beta mode.Play store version will be coming soon

Tab has 3.5 mm audio over its bottom.also there are two speakera at bottom of the tablet by, Wolfson WM8958E, each 0.5 W (90 dB).Nokia N1 has best in class Wi-Fi, (802.11a/b/g/n/ac); dual channel (2.4GHz & 5GHz) with MIMO and latest Bluetooth, BT 4.0.
One interesting thing to note here is Nokia N1 has Micro-USB 2.0 with a Type-C reversible connector which is a new type connector.Nokia N1 may be the first electronic device inthe world to offer this.
Pricing and Availability
The tablet will initially go on sale in China in time for Chinese New Year-that’s February 19th of next year-costing $250(Approx Rs 15,000). After that it will be launched in Russia and Europe, and then hopefully in India later on.
