BJP is out with unaccountable vision: Shingari

JAMMU, Nov 29: Congress candidate from Jammu West Constituency, Surinder Singh Shingari today said that a party with so called “difference” has now come up without a manifesto for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
“If they are a party with difference, why they are without a manifesto in J&K”, he questioned. A manifesto makes a party accountable before the voters but the BJP has resorted to an unaccountable ‘vision’ to befool the people of Jammu, Kashmir and India as well, Shingari said.
He said that BJP has all along misguided and misinformed the people to raise tempers for its electoral gains. “Integration of Jammu and Kashmir with India is complete but the BJP uses Article 370 of the Indian Constitution to cast a false impression that Jammu and Kashmir has not yet become a part of India” he added.
He said that it is the Indian Constitution which makes the J&K an integral part of India, but by terming Article 370 unnecessarily for electoral gain, BJP has tried to create a doubt, that accession of J&K to India is not complete.
“Why don’t BJP accepts that J&K is an integral part of India? If it does, then why integrity of J&K with India is questioned by BJP itself under the garb of Article 370?”, Shingari asked.
He said that BJP made Article 370 an issue in Parliamentary elections to gain power but the same is dumped now for the sake of false and imaginary mission of forty four plus. He said that BJP is caught in duality and stands exposed now.
He appealed to the people to vote for committed unity, progress and accountability and not for an unaccountable vision.
He was speaking while conducting door to door campaign in Ward No 36 (Lakar Mandi) and Ward no 26 (Subash Nagar) of the constituency. Meanwhile, he also opened election office at Gole Pully, Talab Tillo.
