Reen intensifies door-to-door canvassing

JAMMU, Nov 29: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Gandhi Nagar Assembly constituency Amrik Reen today held series of public meeting in Nanak Nagar area and launched extensive door-to-door canvassing to appeal masses for casting their vote in favour of PDP.
The party also opened its election office at Nanak Nagar under the guidance of Surjeet Kaur, Mahila Wing General Secretary. While appealing masses during the public meetings held by Reen, he said that the graph of development has seen many ebb under the leadership of former and sitting MLAs in the Gandhi Nagar constituency whether it was National Conference or Congress government in power.
Reen further said that development in the constituency has been confined to the re-metaling of the roads and re-tiling of the streets. He added that the power scenario has gone from bad to worse under the incumbent MLA.
He appealed the voters to vote in large numbers in favour of PDP in the Legislative Assembly elections and assured that if he was elected, all the burning issues of the constituency would be highlighted for a genuine and time bound solution and Constituency will be developed on the tone of modern cities of the State.
