SRINAGAR, Nov 30: A couple died of asphyxiation caused by overnight use of Bukhari in their room in Indra Nagar in Srinagar, police said.
A police spokesman said the couple used to live in a rented flat at Indra Nagar.
The bodies recovered from the spot have been identified as those of Prouash Singh Rathor son of Palrop Singh and his wife Mangoo Rathor of Talab Tiloo Jammu.
“The couple had apparently died of asphyxiation caused by overnight use of bukhari in their room,” the spokesman said, adding, a case under Section 174 CrPC has been filed.
