JAMMU, Dec 1: Divisional Commissioner Jammu Shantmanu today chaired a meeting regarding the handing over taking over of National Highway 1B Batote-Kishtwar Road for maintenance to J&K PWD.
Threadbare discussion was held on various important issues related to maintenance of National Highway Batote-Kishtwar by the PWD.
During the meeting, Shantmanu reviewed the present status of progress of work on Batote-Kishtwar Road. Chief Engineer PWD R&B informed that upto Thathri, the road is blacktopped and further Thathtri to Kishtwar work is in full swing and would be completed at the earliest. Div Com directed the R&B Department to work with utmost zeal and dedication for the timely completion of this vital road project.
The meeting was attended by Chief Engineer R&B A. H. Sheikh, Comm 35 BRTF (BEACON) Col Vishal Sharma, XEn 35 BRTF M. P. Meena, CPO Doda Yoginder Katoch, DC Kishtwar M. Javed Khan and SE PDD Kishtwar S. K. Kaul.
